] Henry says he has a sister - but we're not given her name and she isn't in town yet. So there can't be any rivalry for Catherine's friendship yet.

They meet in Ch. 8 where they have a nice discussion on all those things one speaks of to a new acquaintance - very likely the same things she talked to Henry about during her first conversation with him, but done seriously rather than teasingly. ;-) Her conversation with Eleanor is interrupted by Isabella Thorpe who drags her off to chat about importunate men.

No, there's no rivalry for Catherine's friendship yet, but Catherine is quite interested in getting better acquainted with Miss Tilney.
