I think she's a fasciating character, almost a tragic figure, in the sense that all tragic figures are tragic because of thier own character flaws.

But she's a very real character, isn't she? I mean, we all have known an Isabella in ours lives. And they have their own charm which makes us wish to find some mitigating circumstances...
