Before I ever read NA, I once saw a post on another board that was using the characters from this book when making a comparison about character/s from another. It contained a negative comment about Catherine (I can't share the comment because it would be a spoiler.)But because of the comment, I was expecting that I would not be too taken with Catherine on my first read. To my surprise I found that I liked her, nevertheless. However, on my second read, the same as you, I find myself much even more delighted by her. I am seeing very likeable characteristics in her that I missed the first time around. Your post was a good one. :-)
