Miss Andrews   Written by Irene M (3/30/2003 7:00 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Ah, yes..., penned by Rebecca Nix
Are you new?

] I immediately felt a falseness. I'm not sure that Isabella cares for Catherine save as a welcome source of attention other than her sisters. I just felt no genuine affection from Isabella. She was pleased with Catherine because Catherine served her purposes. The moment something more interesting took hold of her attention...poor Miss Morland was no longer a novelty.

Yes, I agree. I like how she uses her other friend Miss Andrews to make her point about what a great friend she is to her, calling her "an angel" in one breath, then calling her "insipid" in the very next breath. Not very friendly words, IMO. I wonder what Isabella would say to others about Catherine when she's not around.
