Finally found out why...   Written by Vivian L (3/30/2003 3:03 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, GR: The Negative Narrator, penned by Cheryl
Are you new?

] I found it fascinating then, that when Henry Tilney is introduced, there is not a single negative to describe him! He is tall, has a pleasing countenance, good address, is intellegent, with lively eyes! This great long list of what everyone is not followed by a long list of what Henry Tilney is! Was JA as enamored of him as we are? ;-)

It seems that everytime we talk about the BBC adaptation of NA, we all say that we find it hard to picture Henry as a blond. I finally found out why this week. In Chapter 6, Catherine describes him as "a brown skin, with dark eyes, and rather dark hair." So perhaps they did give Peter Firth the wrong wig. ;o)
