One of my favourite scenes from MP1 is the scene in Fanny's attic, where she watches Edmund and Mary read through their Lovers' Vows scene. It was well-fleshed out from the book, and really showed how close-to-the-bone the dialogue was.
I also liked how the scene focused in Edmund and Mary, and seemed to forget Fanny was there. It complemented how it is portrayed in the novel, where we experience it through Fanny uncomfortable perspective.
It is also fun to watch well-trained theatrical actors pretend to be bad at acting. Adds a nice meta-layer to the whole proceeding!
