I am in the middle of watching it for the first time and am enjoying it so far. I've watched about 2.5 episodes, so I don't think it's fair for me to comment on it overall.

However, I have some things to say about Edmund. When I first saw him he struck me as too old. However, I think he's very good. I am very defensive of Emma Thompson when I hear people say she was too old to be Elinor Dashwood, so I can accept this actor as Edmund.

The only big thing that keeps jumping out at me is that I wish they would POWDER EDMUND'S NOSE! It always looks so shiny and for some reason this really annoys me. Not enough to ruin the adaptation for me, but enough for me to notice it repeatedly. How silly of me. :)
