Just wondering which adaptation to start with! Written by Karen (1/16/2013 1:59 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Thoughts on MP1, penned by Michelle Angelica

I'm rereading MP - it's the first time I've read it in many years - and I was just wondering which adaptation to try. I vaguely remembered hearing that the 2007 adaptation with Frances O'Connor took many liberties with the plot and I was pretty sure I didn't want to start with that one.

I noticed that MP1 is available on Netflix streaming, so after reading your interesting comments, I think I will give it a try. I do love Anna Massey, and think she would be wonderful as Mrs. Norris!
