Another thanks   Written by Lynn Marie (5/21/2005 11:45 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Overall Impression, penned by Frances Anne
Are you new?

to Lynn and everyone who participated in this group read. I enjoyed being a part of the group.

I can't say that this is one of my favorite books but it was interesting in its own way.
I was surprised by the amount of power Sir William wielded over all the "little people". He was a good man but I'm sure there many others in like positions who took advantage of their underlings. I imagine the wealth and power belonged to a very small percentage of the population and I have to wonder what the lower classes did to settle injustices against them. In that respect, I feel thankful for the time and place I've been born into. So I learned something from VoW.(;
Am looking forward to the next GR in the fall.
