Why couldn't he write?   Written by Golda (5/10/2005 4:38 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, The reappearance (ch. 19-20), penned by LaurieC
Are you new?

I understand that George had a rough time and was often without funds. But there were times when he wasn't desperate. Why couldn't he write home once in a while? I don't understand such a long period of silence. So much of this story is beyond believable, but I can't explain away such a long silence. It seems very selfish to me.
