At the end of Chap.2,Mr. Primrose argues with Mr.Wilmot in defense of monogamy. He discovered Wilmot's opposition to his theory in that,"he was at that time actually courting a fourth wife".


When he speaks of monogamy, does he mean widowers and that they shouldn't remarry? Surely he doesn't mean having more than one wife at a time does he?
