I've read VoW, but I found that I remember the final chapters, where the plot is resolved, somewhat better - sneaked a look :), the old-fashioned charm of the first chapters comes to me anew. I liked the description of homely pastimes, and was quite surprised that both Olivia and Sophia did hay-making.
