Do you think that Lucy told Edward of Elinor's 'friendship,' as her letter to Elinor stated?

Nancy would certainly have repeated that to Elinor if she had heard it, and she did not. I can not help doubting that Lucy would have brought up anything complimentary to her rival if she could avoid it.
