Wouldn’t it be different for Elinor to write to Edward Written by amytat (10/22/2012 5:15 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, correspondence, penned by Stephanie

than it would for Colonel Brandon to write to Elinor, since Elinor and Edward have a family connection? Also, I wouldn't think Colonel Brandon would feel that such a personal confession would be considered necessary business and be willing to write to Elinor about it.
