What an interesting thought.   Written by Chandra S (10/20/2012 1:27 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Primed for Lucy, penned by Barbara
Are you new?

I confess that had always been one of my sticking points with this book - it never seemed to me to be rational that someone as thoughtful, well-educated, and quiet as Edward could fall for Lucy Steele. Comparing her behavior to the treatment he had been used to expect at the hands of Mrs. F, Fanny, and Robert definitely helps to see that particular puzzle in a new light. Thank you, Robbin and Barbara!
