I doubt ...   Written by gianni (9/27/2012 2:41 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, when younger, penned by Stephanie
Are you new?

...that I'm what you're after, but here goes...

My mother used to say that I was a good student until I learned to read in the first grade, then it was all downhill from there. I was a compulsive reader of everything except what I was supposed to be reading :-).

As I grew into the awareness of girls, my deep-seated introversion compelled me to bury myself even more deeply in the books, and I admired girls from afar, terrified of anything more than necessary interaction due to school and church activities. Which terror, of course, pushed me even deeper into the books.

So, yeah, I was a sort of reverse Marianne, even though I'm sure the few who noticed me would have said I was an Elinor. But I think maybe I was really orthogonal to Marianne and Elinor.
