I first read S&S at 18, after reading P&P in a high school English Lit class. I loved P&P, mostly because I related to (aspired to be?) Lizzie Bennet.

I was not as taken by S&S. I think it was in part because it seemed like it was mostly Marianne's story, and I did not relate to her. Even back then, I was definitely an Elinor.
