when younger   Written by Stephanie (9/26/2012 11:16 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Thinking about Marianne..., penned by Cathy Allen
Are you new?

I am sure I had some of her traits, but, as I tended to think the teenagers around me were pretty silly, with all their romantic crushes, and desperate emotional ultimatums, and unlikely extremes, I like to think I was not nearly as bad as Marianne.

But how about the men? Did you adopt your crush's interests and opinions? Did you quickly judge those around you and then stick to your ideas even when someone pointed out your mistakes? Did you find yourself attracted to a vibrant, young thing and get overly revved up whenever around her?

Come on, 'fess up! We will forgive you -- probably!
