Guilty! :-p   Written by Ramya (9/22/2012 11:28 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Thinking about Marianne..., penned by Cathy Allen
Are you new?

I hope I was not without a sense of humor, but I certainly had very immature ideas about love and the value of second attachments.

Marianne does annoy me quite a bit. I can't help feeling that how much ever a person was in love with her, all that deep thinking and soulful reading would eventually become tedious. Even though Willoughby and Marianne appear to share similar tastes, I can't help feeling that neither he, nor anyone else, would be able to sustain Marianne's intensity of thought and expression over a long period of time.
