Interesting thought   Written by Jasmine D (9/17/2012 12:27 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Maybe Elinor takes after her father & brother?, penned by Suzanna
Are you new?

I could see how Elinor would appear to be cold-hearted. Elinor places sense over sentiment. She is guided by her mind first, before her heart. However, I am sure that she has a better heart than John does. Perhaps John serves as a foil to Elinor - showing the result of too much sense and practicality, but not enough sensibility.
