Elinor near Lady Middleton   Written by Barb JA (10/23/2009 5:47 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Zeroes and threes and so on, penned by Tom P2
Are you new?

Thank you Tom. This really is fascinating. I find it quite shocking that Elinor is so close to Lady Middleton. Maybe it's just that we don't know enough of either of them yet to get the true measure of their characters.

Since so much of the novel is from Elinor's point of view, is it possible that maybe we wouldn't really get an accurate view of her anyway? It's not as if we ever see her congratulating herself on her own superb qualities. :-)

I'm greedily hoping you finish, but I can appreciate that it must have taken a great deal of work to go as far as you did.
Thanks a bunch!
