As I had anticipated I did not have much time for posting in this GR because of schoolwork, but I have greatly enjoyed reading everyone's comments and especially Barbara's knowledgeable posts. They have helped me get much more out of my pre-GR reread of S&S. I now think I have a much greater appreciation for this novel, despite what the critics may say about it not being Austen's best work. Who cares, say I! As this GR has proven, even JA's supposedly 'less mature' works are far superior to the best works of most other novelists, IMHO. Best of all, I can finally see why S&S is my mother's favourite Austen novel. :-) Thanks for moderating!
