On some subjects there will always be different opinions, and it looks like Willoughby is one of them!

Though I don't agree with every detail of your analysis, I see this issue very much as you do. Perhaps I should have posted more often in your support. Well done for your sustained defence of your point of view.

Something that makes me smile about all this is what passionate opinions Willoughby arouses in the reader. As he is written, Willoughby is not a good man, but my goodness what a vivid character he is! One way or another he gets to people - just like such characters in real life. Clever old JA! ;-D
