Marianne could have become persuaded by degrees had Willoughby's visit lasted longer, and had he not developed some genuine feelings for her.

However, I would doubt Willoughby's having such designs on Marianne, only because Marianne was surrounded by her family, the Middletons, and his aunt lived so close. Willoughby could get away with leading Marianne on (and he did get away with it), but I doubt he could get away with impregnating Marianne.
