I can't see Marianne ever doing anything like that. She may be impulsive, but she has standards and she keeps to the ones she sees as important. She might be beguiled into touring a house alone with a man without the owners consent, but to my way of thinking there's a huge difference between that and actually sleeping with a man before marriage. I don't buy it for Marianne any more than for Elinor.
