I agree with you and have been all the time thinking that Willoughby isn't just a villain but a human with faults. And he is only 25, so there is still time to change later in life.

I would like to add to the point A) that his conduct is harmful towards women.
Or do we have any proof that he acted harmfully towards other men?
Of course he had his quarrel with Col.Brandon but it was because of Eliza II, a woman.

Like somebody said in this thread, it is most interesting that the group read has been so much about Willoughby. Is he the most vivid character in the book? The best written one?
