I'd pay real money to have seen some version of this filmed, but your word painting creates a vivid image. I can see Willoughby, hours later, in some roadside establishment, deep in his cups and muttering, "The stare . . . the stare . . ." (Having once been on the receiving end of the Rickman "raised eyebrow" look, I shiver to think of the stare.)

It's just as well Brandon wasn't there, though. It would have been messy, to say the least. Willoughby would've made medical history.
