different strokes for different folks   Written by Karen G (10/9/2009 2:07 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, seduction, penned by Bridget D
Are you new?

Bridget, I can understand somewhat your skepticism, especially if you personally would never see yourself in such a situation.

But your point as to consent... in these cases, a girl has often consented to love... to falling in love with a man. And if one is intoxicated on love - some people (their personalities - the chemistry that two individuals seem to have with each other) do what others from a different point of view or people who have been warned and educated to would never do. The other "consent" may happen without even thinking, to be hugely regretted later. The question as to innocence here is a slippery slope. Is the punishment equal to the "crime" of falling in love and subsequent intoxicated decisions?
