Such a know-it-all   Written by LouAnn (10/6/2009 12:54 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Robert Ferrars is excessively fond of cottages, penned by Barbara
Are you new?

Robert is such an arrogant know-it-all. He knows exactly how everything should be done, from toothpick cases to educating a young man, to cottage designs, to the proper way to set up a ball in one!

He's a name-dropper, too. This reminds me of Tom Bertram, who's always saying 'my friend so-and-so' but in Tom's case, I think the people really are his friends. I wonder if Robert Ferrars is really 'friends' with the Lords and Ladies he talks about.

And does anyone know why he's fixated on Dawlish?
