Are you new?

When does it take place Sense and Sensibility? As it says in the link Anselm has posted "In Britain dueling was prohibited in 1819 and in the Army in 1844.". Maybe it was not ilegal. But of course neither Brandon nor Willoughby would want it to become public. Both gentlemen would like to hide a fact that would awake undesired questions IMO.
