but hey! it's too much fun to drop this so soon. How about this parallel:

- Edmund feigns love for Gloucester and frames Edgar, the one who really loves him, before cruelly betraying Gloucester.

- Willoughby "feigns" love for Marianne and publically denigrates Col. Brandon, the one who really loves her, before cruelly betraying her.
