Second attachments   Written by Aruna (9/28/2009 11:13 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Should Colonel Brandon have told on Willoughby sooner?, penned by Barbara
Are you new?

Would this be related to Colonel Brandon's conversation with Elinor on Marianne's opinion on second attachments (chapter 11)? He seems to want to say something to Elinor but stops himself from doing so. Perhaps he assumes that his telling will not change anything because of Marianne's attitude toward relationships.

This also reminds me of Mr. Darcy blaming himself for not saying anything about Wickham's character.
