Mrs Jennings and Elinor   Written by Bridget D (9/28/2009 7:19 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, I think it's more (or maybe less?) than being a snob, penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

However as it seems, Mrs J while she's not out of the top drawer, does seem to have good connexions in London society... and in any case, as Mrs Dashwood says they are mostly going into society with Lady Middleton....

I think that Elinor is being unpleasantly and unnecessarily snobbish... Even if she does not want to see Lucy or Edward again, going to London would certainly improve her chances of finding a husband.....
