The Stteele's home   Written by Bridget D (9/27/2009 6:54 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, do the Miss Steeles have a home?, penned by Heather Leigh
Are you new?

I think that the Steeles' "home" is with the uncle Mr Pratt, but they do survive on a small or virtualy non existent income by cadging invitations from friends and acquaintances or more distant relatives who are willing to take them in for a bit...

WHile I dont like Lucy, I still feel a littlte sorry for her and Anne... It is hard to blame her for clinging to the engagement to Edward, who is probalby the best prospect that she has.... While the Dashwoods are also poor, they almost certainly have a little more money and come from a better position in society, which gives them better chances of meeting marriageable men... or at least leading a comfortable if by some standards a dull and limited life...
