I do think that the Middleton children might still be spoiled, but otherwise I think that Charlotte would be better-suited to be Sir John's wife than Mary is. If there seemed to be any real affection between Sir John & his Lady, that would be different, but it seems much more socially preferred match than anything else.

Complementary personalities can work in a marriage, but neither of these couples seem to have them.
