Chapter 24: Is Lucy serious re: the Norland living? Written by kathleen (elder) (9/23/2009 9:56 p.m.)

Does she really think that Elinor could persuade John to give Edward the Norland living? Or is she once again setting a trap for Elinor to see what she says and how she reacts? Would she even want to marry Edward prior to his inheriting the money his mother controls?

I go back and forth on this one, and I'm not sure. Opinions?
