Thanks for sharing, BarbaraB! The critique you quote from Gill and Gregory just made it occur to me (this may not be a new thought to others!) that Jane really doesn't mean to portray sense and sensibility in a balanced way. She really is in favor of "sense" and definitely makes fun of "sensibility".
