This is my first time reading S&S (although I have seen all the movie adaptations available a few times), and my fourth GR, and I'm enjoying it immensely, too, as I have always done. To borrow from Anne and Mr. Elliot in Persuasion, it is the BEST company! SO many things I would never have thought of, without this GR; thanks Jeffrey, for your insight into this passage.
