An Interesting Observation Written by maud l (9/21/2009 3:25 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Her purpose in coming to Barton was to warn Elinor, penned by Barbara

A while ago, someone suggested that even the meeting with Mrs. J may have been a set up in the first place; that Lucy may have "found" themselves to be related herself in conversation and so convinced Mrs. J. I don't know if this is correct but I like the idea of Lucy even making that up to get an invitation to Barton. It was fortunate that they happened to be in Exeter at the same time.
