How would she even know where to send them?   Written by Barbara (9/20/2009 10:42 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Edward's & Lucy's correspondence, penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

Edward seems to drift around and has no where in particular to be at any given time. I'm not sure how Lucy would even know where to dirct any letters to him. She couldn't have dared to write to him during all the time he was at Norland, for example, or Fanny would have been likely to find out.

In Ch. 19 he mentions being entered at Oxford, but nothing about being finished there. I suppose it's possible he keeps rooms there even if he doesn't often go there, and he could collect letters when he happens to go there?
