Lucy's skill with children   Written by CarolTS (9/20/2009 12:44 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Lady Middleton's manipulative nature?, penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

All of this (especially the picture of what one looked like) is causing me to reflect on the skill Lucy actually has with children - which would be none! Why would she ever conceive of offering to make a 3 year old something like that? Why didn't she offer to make dolly clothes or even a little doll out of buttons or something? I mean really - that's just ridiculous.

And yes, I do agree, that Lady Middleton was idiotic for agreeing to this too. She obviously should have said, "No, dear, that's really impractible for a 3 year old. She'll tear it apart and won't care about it anyway."
