Marriages - Palmers and Middletons   Written by Aruna (9/19/2009 3:29 p.m.)
Are you new?

I find it interesting to compare the marriages of the Middletons and the Palmers. The Middleton and Palmer marriages seem similar. Sir John and Charlotte are both outgoing, amiable and somewhat silly. Lady Middleton and Mr. Palmer on the other hand seem reserved, superior and like talking about the weather.

It is suggested that Mr. Palmer married Charlotte for her beauty, and Lady Middleton is described as handsome and elegant - perhaps Sir John married her for her beauty too.

How about the marriage of the John Dashwoods?

It would be interesting if we can get more glimpses of the interactions between these couples!
