Thanks! I looked at Civility and Empire on Google books and the part about Elinor and Willoughby’s conversation was really interesting. I can readily believe Willoughby would cast aspersions on Brandon. If that is his intent then I think it says more about his willingness to make baseless accusations than the colonel. (:D)
