Are you new?

It is a question that puzzled me when I read the section mentioned. What happened in Norland that was so much more satisfying? I think there was more than just Edward going on for her. Certainly he was the best thing that had come along after her father's death and having John and Fanny there. But I suspect that a person with good social grace and skill like Elinor had more going on in her life. But that is just how I imagine her life had been. It is not said that she is shy. My little molehill in a mountain as well.
