Are you new?

that Willoughby seems a bit harsh on Col. Brandon. Why does he dislike him so? I was surprised by his strong attack on the Col. There is no reason for him to be jealous about Col.'s admiration for Marianne; W. has so obviously have taken her heart already. Each time I read this passage, I am struck by the vehemence. Maybe I'll get a clue in this GR.
