I've had a little trouble identifying IRONY in JA, and I think it's because I've enjoyed using it myself without knowing that's what I've been doing. She has such command of it, though, doesn't she? Thanks for pointing it out. It is such a pleasure to read her work.

It is also a great pleasure to listen to the audiobooks. I highly recommend them. Unlike one of the movie adaptations, you get ALL of the good, and can picture it in your mind in any way you'd like, and NONE of the additions/deletions made by screenwriters! Add to that the fact that JA wrote them to be read aloud to her family; it's the ideal way to enjoy her writing!
