Best little dog   Written by Barb JA (9/15/2009 8:36 a.m.) in consequence of the missive, Does Sir John know about Willoughby's family, penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

You make a good point about Sir John approving everyone.

I think it's funny when Sir John replies to questions of pursuits, talent, genius with "I don't know but he's got this great little dog!"

I too think it's funny that after he describes Willoughby dancing all night and got up at 8, that Marianne says
"That is what I like; that is what a young man ought to be. Whatever be his pursuits, his eagerness in them should know no moderation, and leave him no sense of fatigue."

Heaven forbid someone should actually get tired!
