As you point out in your quote from Marianne, she justifies the unjustifiable by saying that if it was wrong she wouldn't enjoy it with a snortworthy, circular distortion of logic that leaves me scratching my head & saying "Hunh?". It reminds me of the saying from the 60s--"if it feels good, do it."
