Mrs. Jennings and Lady Middleton   Written by CarolTS (9/8/2009 7:51 p.m.) in consequence of the missive, Mothers (and some daughters who are like them!) [long], penned by kathleen (elder)
Are you new?

I wonder if Lady Middleton went to a school like those mentioned by Caroline Bingley and Mrs. Hurst that gave one a sophisticated air? That might explain the huge difference between herself and her mother. Of course, on the other hand, Elinor is nothing like her mother either and we accept that as just having different personalities. But Lady Middleton's differences, imo, go further than just personality.

I think it's fairly funny that Lady Middleton married a man so like her mother in temperment!
