Are you new?

I can't remember where I heard this--possibly on this very site--but someone said that a barouche was the Regency equivalent to today's expensive sports cars. That made me giggle and was also an analogy that is easy to remember. I guess women have always been impressed (or not) by the vehicle that a man drives.
